David Kim is a partner at Parsus LLP. He focuses his practice on corporate transactions, corporate representation, and intellectual property. Mr. Kim has represented public and private entities in mergers and acquisitions, cross-border investment, and financing. He also advises his clients and their boards of directors on corporate governance matters. Recently, he has helped clients structure and negotiate licensing transactions, supply and distribution agreements, strategic alliances, and joint ventures between domestic and international companies.
Prior to co-founding Parsus, Mr. Kim was an attorney at Winston & Strawn, where he represented clients in intellectual property matters, including patent assessment and analysis, licensing agreements, and various phases of patent and copyright infringement litigation. He also represented clients in general business and securities litigation concerning claims for breach of contract, breach of fiduciary duty, unfair business practices, and other business torts. Mr. Kim draws on his litigation background to help his corporate clients recognize and avoid liability.
In his free time, Mr. Kim enjoys reading and playing ice hockey and soccer.
